U.S. may subsidize troubled mortgages: sources
The U.S. Government is contemplating a plan that would prevent further mortgage delinquencies and potententially stop the current "free-fall" in home values. If you combine this plan with the Freddie Mac plan to become landlords you will begin to see the formation of a possible "bottom" to the real estate market. For those of you that are or represent speculative investors, I would watch very closely for any signs of a turnaround (see JMO Blog below). As it may signal the need to change your acquisition or exit strategy
